These gorgeous stones are from Namibia and they're a great quality too.

When Amethyst occurs in bands like this with White Quartz it is usually simply called "Banded Amethyst", but sometimes the actual Amethyst points themselves are more tapering and elongated, like these lovely pieces are. Such pieces are then often called "Dog Tooth Amethyst" - for obvious reasons !
